I like the numbers changing and showing the lines in color was really nice. Also, I liked how you divided the chapters to make the players play the game by following the story. Great game!
The countdown was really great and added to the aesthetic. I think making the countdown a bigger size or color would make it feel even more urgent!
The game to memorize the instructions is really well done! I think that adhering to the 200 word limit would have cut down on the exposition and let the core mechanic of the game speak for itself; I think that memorizing the instructions and proceeding to cut the wire is brilliant, and the changing numbers on the screen adds to the feeling of intensity. I want these moments of choice to be emphasized over the narrative, because this choice / risk / pressure is really strong!
I think the storyline is great. You went into detail with the descriptions of what is happening. The game seems easy but I kept failing it. It is also a memory game of remembering the instruction. I wish different characters have different combinations of the wires to have varieties in the result.
I loved the sense of urgency when it comes to playing the game. The rushing countdown of the bomb timer was really fun to play against and having to remember the rules for cutting the wires was a cool game mechanic.
The gameplay feels very challenging in an intuitive way. I have a clear understanding that I need to pay attention to the instructions in order to diffuse the bomb, and the counter with the wires visualized helps me feel more engaged.
